No is a powerful word
It can be the proper answer
To many questions
Would you betray someone
Would you cheat
Would you lie
Would you steal
Will you go against your principles
Some would say what you say yes to
Makes you who you are
I would argue the opposite
What you say no to
Shapes you more than what
You say yes to
No has the power to drastically
Change a life
No I will not drink and drive
No to a marriage proposal
No is not the end all be all
But no shapes you just as much
If not more than yes
No can be the vehicle of mercy
No I will not push the envelope too far
No enough is enough
No I will forgive instead of hate
What has shaped you more
Yes or no
