When different Love languages meet sometimes Love needs translating
You can give Love till you’re blue in the face in your own Love language
But it can be hard for the other person to receive that Love in a meaningful way
When it’s alien to their own Love language
Sometimes Love needs translation
If someone’s Love language is words of affirmation
And yours is acts of service
Without translation you’ll both feel neglected and unLoved
Even though you may Love each other deeply
Love requires work and action and part of that work and action is translation
You can Love so much more effectively when you translate into the other persons language
Without translation it can feel like shouting into a void
Without consequence as they tell you they don’t feel Loved or seen
I think mistranslation or none at all is the reason why so many relationships fail
It’s not for lack of trying it’s for the lack of translation.
You have to be able to decipher what their Love language is Love them that way
In addition to sharing what your Love language is and how you best receive Love.
So, I implore you today if you want a successful relationship to learn how to translate your Love and theirs.
