Rain like grace washes the world clean

Grace like rain washes my sins away

Both wash away

But only one has the power to save your soul

The other can save or it can drown

At the mercy of nature’s whim

Let the rain wash over my wearied body 

Let the grace run over my wearied soul

Let both flow through me and over me

Let me emerge renewed on the other side

God I call unto you

Let your grace and mercy follow me all of my days

As I cry out as as dry cracked ground

Let your spirit wash over me
