Even though you’re wearing an oversized stained t shirt and baggy sweatpants
It shouldn’t feel like an awkward side hug when you’re not looking your best
When you’re just down to relax
Love should feel effortless even when it’s not
It should be the beautiful comfort of being held even when you’re sick and look like shit
Even when you know you don’t look beautiful or handsome
Love should make you look that way in their eyes
Love should feel like comfy sweatpants
The perfect end to a horrible day
The arms that wrap around you and make you feel safe
