Mike has written a very interesting collection of poems. Often times lyrical you’ll feel like you’re reading the words to a song. Which makes sense since he says most of them started as lyrics then became something else. Many of the poems are speculative in nature but not all of them. Some are some really nice pretest pieces against the far right and the oligarchy. My personal favorite poems are Fly Wright, and War Is Freedom.

A.B. Flynn has a powerful and beautiful first collection here. The collection runs the gamut from haiku, free verse, onto sonnet forms offering a diverse experience. Flynn will grab you with her poetic prowess and leave you desperately begging for more. my favorites were This Is Not The End, The Dark Lord Sonnets, Consumed, Caged, and Words Written In A Coffee Shop A Year And A Month Ago.

This book is an amazing trip through phobias with poetry and prose poetry. It explores phobias in a way never seen before. This isn’t your average poetry book with remixes of words traipsing through the same topics. This is awe inspiring talent drawing you in and making you think about things you never thought of before this is poems to be afraid of. Pixie Bruner has spent decades honing her craft and it shows through in every line. Bringing forth nightmares in lyrical prose. Whether you laugh or cry is entirely up to you and your individual phobias but you’ll be glad for chance to see through the looking glass either way.
