What’s that you said Life gave you Melons?
No my sweet summer child Life gives you lemons
I’m afraid you might be dyslexic
Wait Life really gave you melons instead of lemons?
Maybe Life is dyslexic
That sure explains a lot
It explains why Life has so many strange twists and turns
It’s trying to read from a set of instructions but reads things wrong
And just tries to improvise
Give Life a break it’s trying the best that it can and it’s to set in its ways to change
It’s hard to teach old dogs new tricks and what dog is older than Life
Through all of Life’s twists and turns all we can do is grin and bear it
As Life is just trying to get through the millennia with a learning disability
So cut it some slack when it messes up and shit gets turned around
And Life takes a nasty left turn out of nowhere.
