Cold and Alone (Or are you?)

Through the troubles and the hard times

Through the darkness you tread in

Like water 30 feet at least past your feet

Cold, dark, and alone

Is how you feel

As you’re doing everything you can

Just to tread water and keep your

Head above the water

As the waves crash over your face

And drown you bit by bit

You feel completely alone

But I promise you’re not

There’s at least 2 people reaching out with a Lifeline and warmth

Yelling against the storm

You’re not alone just reach out and take hold

There’s me shouting through the storm

And Jesus the calm in the storm reaching out

Both of us reaching out begging for your hand

Begging for you to come up

There are others too your loved ones

Your friends

Your family

And others

Though you can’t see them or hear them

Probably cause they don’t know what you’re going through

Because you haven’t shared it

So you’re struggling alone

But they’re ready with a shoulder to cry on

And hug full of warmth

Reach out today

Don’t delay

And ask for help

You’re stuck behind enemy lines

No gun

Nothing but a knife dull as hell

Hallucinating giant spiders

But just reach out and grab the help

Readily offered by me and others.

Don’t hesitate and reach out I can be contacted at the following.
