There’s a new rhythm in life these days
Fast paced and hectic
Theres no place to run and no gasoline
Engines won’t turn and the train won’t leave
We’re all running on fumes
Just trying to stay afloat
Whether you deal with depression or some other mental disorder
We’re all trying our hardest to stay afloat
In this hectic pace
In this rat race
Doing whatever just to stay alive
As we question ourselves
Why do we care to stay alive
But there is a truth and it’s on our side
Look at the sunrise and see the beauty and the message within
Theres brighter days ahead
As you do whatever just to stay alive
There brighter days ahead
You’ll find your pace with the rhythm
And it’ll get easier to stay alive
It’s like I always say
It may pass like a fucking kidney stone
But it’ll fucking pass
Dawn is coming open your eyes
