I feel lighter than I have

In ages

I’ve crossed the border

Of weightlessness

My inspiration has found me again

My writers block has vanished

And with it the burden

Placed on my soul

Now I soar again

On weightless wings

Unburdened by the world

The Lord has me floating

Like a feather on the sea

Weightless and burden free

I am sky-bound

If you need to

Don’t hesitate to share your

Burdens with me

And together we shall soar

Free and mighty

In the clouds

Above an endless sea

If I should fall allow the ground

To find its brutal way to me

For that’s how I learn

And again shall I soar

For such is my birthright

As a child of God
