Supernova

You shine like a star going supernova

Brighter than the North Star

More magnificent than the heavens

You light up my life

Guide my path

You remind of who I’ve been

You show me who I can become

You inspire me and admonish me

You push me to be the man that you see I can be

You’ve shown me optimism can be awesome

Even though I still temper it with realism

You’re amazing and I thank God that you’re in my life
