This Poem was a collaboration with John Thomas Francis the owner of The world of the Light Walker – You don’t wanna know what’s goin’ on inside my personal life? Then get out my diary, yeah-NF, Know and my second Youngest brother. Enjoy!
You ask me what I dream of and I reply I don’t dream
But the truth is I do but they vanish like vapor in the dark on a moonless night
But first upon waking they seem like reality and I’m confused
Then they vanish like a cloud of vapor in the dark
Like they never were
Our dreams are fleeting things full of meaning and yet meaningless
Our lives are the same like vapor in the dark
Here and gone in the span of a breath our lives pass
We are finite and this universe is infinite
The world continue to spin on without us and our dreams
But our dreams are the fuel upon which the fires of change burn
We are but vapor but even vapor can ignite and spark a fire
Even in the dark vapors can ignite and provide quite show
We’re given one life
To change
To dream
To think
To wake
Fires of change
In our hearts
Just normies in the game
Short lives
Shorter impacts
Yet capable of changing everything
Everyone knows that alone we’re small
Alone the mortals are nothin
But together even the wizards fear us
Vapor in the dark?
Dreams of smoke and mirrors?
Sure
But those same smoke and mirrors
Those same vapors
Taught man to fly
Landed him on the moon
The little people
The experiments
The oddballs
The long shots
The overlooked
Took life and said
“No. No. No. We may be long shots”
“Screw that. We’ll shoot anyways.”
“Screw the toxic people. We’ll make beautiful things.”
“We’ll create wonders. Imitating the first creator.”
The mindset that taught us that there are wonders in the world
Is the one that said “It’s not just vapor it’s possible. DO IT ANYWAYS!”
So spark a flame, change the world. You’ve got it in you. Ignore the dark
Light a fire, it’s what we do and have done all along. You can change the world.
Not just vapors, but magic, change, beauty. Show us the future.
Show us your vapors catching a blaze in the dark
