We are sinners in the hands of a holy God
We are born into wickedness
The first inclination of humankind’s heart is evil and selfishness
We are sinners in the hands of a holy God
Justified by faith alone in Jesus
Before we accept him, we dangle over death and destruction by the thread of our lives
And it’s a thin thread ready to snap at any moment
But accept him and put your faith in him and you will be saved by grace and justified by faith
Our lives are forfeit before we accept him
For all have sinned and fallen short
Run to Christ your only rescue
Your refuge from the fire
The author of our salvation, our protector, our healer and our refuge
There is no refuge in our own will, and the fires of hell do not fear us
There’s only one salvation
Run to him
Because the flames fear not your excuses
They fear only his throne
Take the cross take the gift you can’t afford
Become justified, and sanctified
Saved by grace
The Grace of a holy God
By the love of an all-powerful Father
When everyone else turns their back on you
The Savior does not
He is always there even when we turn and run away
When we sin, and sin we do even when we try not too
He doesn’t look upon us with disappointment, or regret
Instead, there is Grace, love, and open arms welcoming us back to him
