When my time comes
I wont pray for another day
I’ve lived a life some would be jealous of
Though I don’t really know who
When my time comes don’t weep for me
For I will have gone to my great rest
I wont have to fight or struggle anymore
Instead I’ll weep tears of joy
Because I wont have to fight my demons anymore
I’ll finally be at blessed peace
And will be reunited with family and friends who have gone on before
Including those I never got to meet
Don’t cry for me on that day for I’ll be in a far happier place
Surrounded by the love of God that I’ve so often ran from
You can cry for the loss of me from your life
That you’ll never see my face again in this life
Or hear me speak to you
But don’t cry for me
For I’ll be rejoicing
Dancing in fields of Grace
I’ll be getting a tour of my dad’s new shop and waiting on the rest of you
When my time comes don’t cry for me
I’ve long earned my eternal rest
Cry for the absence of me
But don’t cry for me
For I’ll be wrapped in the arms of Jesus and my Dad so don’t cry for me
