There’s songs that take me back to better days 

Cheeseburger in paradise is one of them

A classic Jimmy Buffett song

Every time I hear it I’m whisked away

To singing along to the song with my dad on long car rides 

Driving away from the city to go spend the weekend camping 

It takes me back 

Petra and Jimmy Buffett is a strange pairing but it was the soundtrack to my childhood 

This Means War by Petra 

Was a song I blasted all the time through my dads big speakers in our living room 

I don’t know how I didn’t wear that CD out 

Cause I played it almost every day 

Music takes me back to happier times 

To simpler places 

Transports me to another time and place 

For most people its smells but my sense of smell has never been very good 

For me it’s music 

And there’s thousands of songs 

That all transport me to different places and times 

Thats why I love music 

Cause it takes me back to beautiful memories.
