I can see it in the future
I can hear it in the culture
As sure as I can see the sun, moon, and stars
This world is crying out for a revolution
Not a bloody revolution
But a peaceful one
Its crying out for a revolution of the soul
There are so many broken people in this world
That are crying out for their souls to be healed
They’re crying out for a savior
They’ve gone to church and walked away
Turned away by hypocrites and fake faith
Turned away by those who can talk the talk but wont walk the walk
This world Is broken
Sometimes it seems beyond repair
It needs a revolution of the soul
A changing of the church but not from it’s foundations
It doesn’t need the church to betray the scriptures
Like some would have it do
But the church needs to change from the hollow people that make up so much of it
That have no real relationship with their God
Or who worse yet follow false gods
It needs a revolution led by grace
The awe inspiring grace of Jesus
Who came not for those who had it all together but for the broken
The sinners
The healthy have no need of a Doctor
As he said “I have come not to call those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners” Matthew 9:13
Jesus came for the broken, the sinner
And somewhere along the way we forgot that
God loves everyone but he asks all to turn to him
He awaits all who seek him with open arms
And offers his amazing grace to all who find him
We’ve lost track of the grace of God
And have instead taken up the mantle of good intentions, self-righteousness, and salvation through works
Believing that if we put on a mask and tell everyone we’re fine and good
And never let anyone see out hurt or brokenness that we can make
Ourselves worthy of God through sacrifice, masks, and good works
We seem to believe that we can somehow earn our salvation if we hide our brokenness
And try to make ourselves worthy of God
But in putting on those masks
We do nothing but hurt others
And deny ourselves the healing we so desperately need
We need a revolution of grace
For we’ve all fallen short
We’ve all messed up
We’re all broken in some way
And we all need the healing love, and grace of God

I loved reading this. Thanks for writing.
You’re welcome if you enjoyed it I highly recommend the book “The Cure: What if God isn’t who you think he is and neither are you?” It delves into the needed revolution of grace. https://a.co/d/9M12Qvk
