I am a warrior

I am the wolf

And the angel

Two sides constantly fighting

Constantly vying for control

Everyday I fight

Against my demons

Against myself

I walk with God

Wherever I walk

Through fire and through flame

Through waters deep and wide

I trudge onward and upwards

Always hoping to come out the

Other side of these valleys

But never seeming to find an end

To these highs and lows

But still I struggle on

Till the end I will always strive

I will always fight

I have vowed never to hasten my own end

Never again by my own hand

But I long for the day when all

Struggle shall cease and

I can just rest

When I die put it on my grave stone

I am finally at rest

Finally at peace

Warrior no more

I have laid down my arms

In the shadows of my fathers wings.
